Activity/Discussion: Turn out all the lights. Ask the kids what they can see. Light a candle. Ask the kids what they can see. What does light do for us? How can we make the room brighter (add more candles, get a bigger fire)? 

Scripture/Discussion: Alma 5:7-8. Where did the light come from? What did the scriptures “illuminate”? What do you think it means to have our souls illuminated? What were the chains that these people saw? Are there any chains that we don’t currently recognize around our family? How do we get rid of chains?
