Texas born and raised, and I will always claim it. Whenever my husband and I go out of town and people ask where we’re from, I usually respond with, “I’m originally from Texas, but now we live in Utah.”

I met my husband when I was fourteen. I’ve always been tall, and he…well, he has not always been tall. Long story short, I ended up bringing other boys over to his house for pool parties. Good thing he’s grown since then. We ended up hanging out later on in our lives, dated for a year and a half, and now we’re very happily married. I don’t think anyone loves anyone as much as Conner loves me, and I always try to remember how lucky I am to have that. I wanted that as a teenager, and now I have it.

We’ve got three cute kids: Evie, Warner, and KJ. They keep me on my toes and are my full-time job. I find an immense amount of fulfillment in motherhood as well as teaching others about Christ.

I like all the normal stuff like Marvel Movie Marathons, romance novels, friends, yoga, etc., etc. My idea of a great date is sitting on a mountain with Costco pizza. I love public speaking (once it is actually occurring, not so much leading up to it), and I’ve always loved to write.
