Scriptures: Mosiah 25:5-11 Take turns reading the verses or one person can read them to everyone.
**For the following activities, you can combine all of them or just use one depending on the needs of your family.
Activity Option 1: This is the easiest option for older kids, but it may not be the most creative or memorable or the three options. Hand out a sheet of paper to each family member. Have them write down their favorite memory of last year in a paragraph or two. Combine all the “records” into one envelope. Pick a date as a family to repeat the activity for every year.
Activity Option 2: Look through family and personal photos. Each family member can pick one photo as a special memory. Print off one copy of each picture that is chosen. The family members take the pictures they chose and write some of the memories down on the back of the photo. You can do as few or as many photos as you like. Combine all the “records” into one envelope. Pick a date as a family to repeat the activity for every year.
Activity Option 3: This may be the best option for younger children. Each child can pick something that has already been created to add to the memory box (rather than envelope). It may be a piece of writing they created at school that year or a craft. Combine all the “records” into one envelope. Pick a date as a family to repeat the activity for every year.
Bear testimony. It may be appropriate to bear testimony of families and record keeping.
